We are DARA DANCE UNIT, a heterogeneous group of people focused on exchange and dance. Our core is Afro Dance, which we blend with other styles belonging to the Black Community. Dance is the heart of our foundation, we express ourselves through our bodies, channeling our inner energies and always tributing our history, life, and soul. BeAfrika Italy
2026-2027


BeAfrika Italy is officially back for its second edition, 2026/2027. Registrations open now through 5 October 2026, with limited spots available. Born in Paris under international dancer and teacher Cassie, and brought to Milan under the artistic direction of Nadege Okou with the support of Dara Corps, BeAfrika Italy is more than a dance course: it's an intensive programme built on energy, technique, culture, sharing and continuous growth, weaving together study, performance, music and connection. The journey continues beyond the classes: in June 2027, the community returns to Teatro della Quattordicesima for the new BeAfrika Show Italy, bringing new guests, contests, performances and more surprises. Africanize
Workshop


Africanize is a two-day intensive bringing participants into close contact with five teachers, immersing them in the cultural, technical, theoretical and choreographic dimensions of the style. Taking place in 2027, the programme unites five instructors across two days of dedicated training, offering a full and hands-on dive into the discipline.

Closing Show


 The Closing Show of the Second BeAfrika Italy Program. Under the artistic and organisational direction of Nadege Okou and her collective Dara Corps, the Beafrika Show presents its second Italian edition in Milan. On the programme: a showcase by students of the Beafrika Italy intensive training course, the Top Choreo choreography competition, performances by guest artists, and much more.
